What's included in the pilot?
Everything. The 30-day pilot gives you the complete Cnoté feature set — smart digests, instant alerts, WhatsApp dialogue, calendar sync, parent portal, and multilingual delivery — for up to 30 students at no cost. The GDPR DPA is signed before you start. No credit card required.
How does onboarding work?
We schedule a 45-minute onboarding call. You connect your school Gmail account, upload your parent contact list (name + WhatsApp number), and we configure your digest preferences. Parents receive a WhatsApp welcome message and set a PIN. You can be sending real updates within 24 hours of signing the DPA.
Do we need parent consent?
The school is the data controller. Cnoté processes data under the school's existing legal basis (legitimate interest for school communications). We recommend informing parents in your standard enrolment paperwork. Our DPA template includes suggested parent disclosure language.
What happens after the pilot?
If you'd like to continue, we agree a per-student annual fee based on your school's size. Volume discounts apply for larger schools. There's no pressure — if Cnoté isn't right for your school, you can walk away after the pilot with your data exported.
Is pricing per parent or per student?
Per student. A student can have multiple parent contacts at no additional cost. The per-student model reflects the value Cnoté delivers — ensuring every child's parents are informed — rather than charging per user account.
